National Family History Month was a busy month for me with a number of speaking engagements.

• Keynote address: ‘Doing it for ourselves: Transcription projects’, NFHM launch, Victorian Archives Centre, Friday 2 August at 2:30pm – 4:00pm.
• Book launch: ‘Launch of Journeys into Chinese Australian Family History’, Chinese Museum, Sunday 18 August at 10.30am – 3.00pm.
• Presentation: ‘So you’ve discovered a Chinese ancestor. What next?’, Glen Waverley Library, Wednesday 28 August at 10.30am – 12noon.
