The outdoor museum at the Norwegian Folk Museum was sizable with lots of different styles of Norwegian building styles from different eras. What blew me away was the fact that this collection started in 1881 with Kong Oscar II’s collection which became the basis for this museum. The 13th century Stave Church, mostly replica, but still pretty special. If it had been the weekend this outdoor museum would have been filled with a Christmas market.
